How does tag2me actually find my stuff?

Each sticker holds a unique anonymous QR code. When a finder scans it, they see your return instructions and can message you through us — your name, phone and address stay private.

How much does it cost?

10p per code per month for the first 3 months (with a minimum of 20 codes), then a flat £3.75 per month thereafter. Sticker sheets are a separate one-off purchase, priced by size and finish.

What sizes and finishes do you offer?

Sheets of 20, from 2cm to 10cm square, in basic, laminated or waterproof finishes. See our application guide for recommendations.

What if someone scans my sticker but I haven't lost the item?

We send you a quiet 'have you misplaced this?' notification. Only if you confirm does a case open and the finder get to message you.

Can I move a sticker to a different item?

Accepted Answer

No — each code is permanently bound to its first item for everyone's safety. Order a new sticker to tag something else.

Is the finder told my address?

Accepted Answer

Never automatically. You agree the handover method (post, in-person, courier) inside the app, and only what you choose to share is shared.

What if I never get my item back?

Your subscription stays active. If you give up on a case, you can mark it 'donate' or 'no longer wanted' and we'll suggest a charity collection where available.

Do you work outside the UK?

Stickers ship to the UK and EU today. The recovery flow works wherever a finder has internet — we've reunited items posted back from across Europe.

How do I cancel?

From your account page, any time. Your stickers keep working in 'view-only' mode for 30 days so you can export your data and finders mid-case aren't cut off.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Photos and item details are stored privately and only re-signed on demand. We never sell data and never share contact details without your explicit consent.
